Tackers is a fun introductory, games-based sailing program designed for kids aged 7-12 years-old. Kids don’t need to have any sailing experience or club membership to participate.
This course aims to provide water confident children aged 7-12 with a fun, safe and affordable way to get into sailing. Designed for participants who wish to have fun and learn the basics of sailing through games on and off the water.
Tackers1-Having Fun is an accredited Australian Sailing course conducted by qualified instructors from our Discover Sailing Centre. The course introduces younger children to sailing over eight Saturday mornings. Courses run over October-December, and February-April. Sessions dates for season 2022/2023 are to be advised. Sessions commence at 8:45am and conclude at 11:00am.
The Tackers 1 provides eighteen hours of qualified instruction, with a Certificate of completion presented at the end of the course.
