Chelsea Yacht Club Moving Forward in the Next Chapter of Development

Published Sat 30 Sep 2023

After a significant period of being closed for renovations, the Chelsea Yacht Club is now open. Supported by the City of Kingston, the building renewal program has bought a new lease of life into the club building, whose origins stem back to 1938. Driven by accessibility requirements, the club building renewal includes a lift, remodelling of all facilities including bar, kitchen and restrooms. For club members this means modern facilities and an expanding range of services.

The Bay Room,  with unrivaled views of the bay, is available for you to hire for that special celebration or corporate event/meeting.  We also host regular social events, community dinners and music at the beach sessions open to both members and the community.

The Boat Hub

The club has recently taken possession of the industrial property that will be home to the Chelsea Yacht Club Boat Hub. Located a few minutes from the club at Wells Road, Chelsea Heights, the Boat Hub will offer under cover storage and maintenance facilities for club members. This unique facility is currently being equiped with a mezzanine, loading racks and alifting hoist. It will be open for existing and new members very shortly.
