A Taste of India – Bollywood Night ✨

The Chelsea Yacht Club Social Committee is pleased to bring you A Taste of India on Friday 20 February with a Bollywood-themed evening. Come dressed to impress and be ready for a night to tantalise your taste buds — there will be a prize for the best dressed on the night!

Bollywood music and dancing will be played on the screens throughout the evening. The night will commence after the Members’ Draw at 6.30pm, with dinner served at 7.00pm.

 

This is a pre-booked event featuring Indian cuisine supplied by The Indian Hut Chelsea.

Cost: $40.00 per ticket

 

Menu

Entrée
• Traditional Chicken Tikka (GF) – Barbecued boneless chicken marinated overnight and cooked in a tandoor
• Vegetable Pakora (V, GF) – Finely chopped mixed vegetables combined with chickpea flour and deep-fried

 

Main
• Chicken Jalfrezi – Boneless chicken cooked with onion, capsicum and spices in a sweet and sour sauce
• Lamb Rogan Josh (GF, DF) – Diced lamb cooked in onion and tomato gravy with aromatic spices, finished with fresh coriander and sliced tomatoes
• Aloo Gobhi (V, GF, DF) – Cauliflower and potato cooked with tomatoes, onion and spices, garnished with ginger, cream and fresh garden tomatoes

 

Side Dishes
• Steamed Rice (GF, DF) – Fine quality steamed basmati rice
• Plain Naan – Traditional Indian flatbread baked in a tandoor
• Mixed Raita – Grated cucumber, cumin seeds, onion and tomato in natural yoghurt
• Papadums – Crispy Indian wafers

No tickets will be available for purchase on the night.
