The Start Sailing 2 program is an accredited Australian Sailing course conducted by qualified instructors from our Discover Sailing Centre. The course introduces adults and teenagers to sailing.

The course will run for nine sessions, starting from Saturday 31 Jan 2026 — Saturday 25 Apr 2026. Sessions commence at 9:00am and conclude at 12:00pm. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 8:30am to allow time for changing into wet weather gear and boat rigging. The program is conducted using the Chelsea Yacht Club Pacers, RS Quests and RS Aero fleet.

The Start Sailing 2 course costs $375 for members and $561 for non-members.. It provides over twenty-two hours of qualified instruction, a Certificate on completion and a pathway to the capable enjoyment of sailing, whether that is sailing in club events, or just doing your own thing.

• Bathers – shorts & rashie ideal (avoid cotton)

• Wetsuit / wetsuit booties
• Sailing gloves (fingerless)
