Green Fleet is an Australian Sailing training program that focuses on the continued development of club sailors. The sessions will centre around some core elements that include:

• Boat Handling Skills 
• Skills to go Fast 
• Racing Skills and Competition 
• Equipment and Disciplines

The sessions will run alongside the four club racing days on Saturday afternoons. Will begin with a session briefing with our coach at 1pm, where they will discuss the focus skill/activity for the day. The group will then hit the water, with onwater coaching assistance throughout. Once completed, there will be a debrief back on shore.

The program's cost is $180 pp for the full program with the option of joining individual sessions at $25 per session. It is open to single-handed and double-handed crews. If you would like to discuss options, please dont hesitate to contact Dom on training@chelseayachtclub.com.au

Program Focus:

Following the structure and instruction in learn-to-sail programs. Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.

During the Program sailors are encouraged to take part in freesail activity, and to trial a variety of boats, boards, and other club related activity through age appropriate design.
