Chelsea Yacht Club

Become a member of a community based and family orientated sailing club with a rich history on the Chelsea foreshore that dates back to 1938. Chelsea Yacht Club caters for all levels of sailing experience from beginners starting out in our fully accredited Longbeach Sail Training Program, to experienced sailors who enjoy Saturday afternoon competition

Off-the-beach dinghy and catamaran sailors find Chelsea a fun, safe and challenging experience on the water. Sailing activities are supported by accredited sailing instructors, highly regarded race management skills and excellent facilities. The relaxed clubhouse provides a friendly social atmosphere with unsurpassed views over Port Phillip.

Full sailing memberships include junior, intermediate, senior and family categories, and include all race fees, Australian Yachting Federation and Yachting Victoria memberships. Social memberships are also available for those who enjoy the beachside social facilities of the Club but do not take part in the regular sailing activities.
